Liverpool bits are the most commonly used of the driving harness bits. This model is designed to be used with multiples. The fixed cheeks prevent pinching of the lips, while the bottom bar prevents the coupling rein from becoming tangled. The high shank offers additional leverage and poll pressure.
The mouthpiece has a low port - used to prevent the horse from getting his tongue over the bit, and cherry rollers to encourage acceptance.
There are 3 slots in the shank to allow adjustment to the severity of the rein action as required. A single link curb chain is also supplied with this bit.
